The Mexican government has launched a scholarship programme for foreign students wishing to pursue bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in Mexico.

Duration of Scholarship
- Graduate research and postdoctoral fellowships-12 months (1 month minimum)
- Specialization – 1 year
- Master’s degree – 2 Years
- Doctorate- 3 or 4 years

Nominations are evaluated and selected based on academic excellence.
Eligibility to apply
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree, depending on the requirements of the programme for which the scholarship is sought. The names of technical and/or commercial degrees are not accepted. For Bachelor’s level mobility, it will not be necessary to submit a diploma, only evidence of studies from the most recent academic session, granted by the institution of origin.
- Candidates cannot reside in Mexico during the application process.
- Applicants must have earned a minimum grade point average of eighty (80), on a scale from 0 to 100 for their most recent academic degree. Applications with a grade point average below the minimum will not be accepted.
- The scholarships are not transferable and cannot be deferred to future years.
