Urban mobility analysis and modelling PhD studentship is open for recruitment. Dr. Chen Zhong (primary) and Prof. Michael Batty will serve as supervisors.The position would be ideal for a student with good computational abilities who is interested in spatial data science, informatics, or any quantitative study in transport geography or urban planning. The student will work closely with a group supported by an ERC beginning grant, realTRIPS, and be a member of an interdisciplinary research group housed at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, University College London.

To be considered for a UCL scholarship, you must:

  • Hold a Bachelors degree in an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (such as Geography, Geoscience, Urban Planning, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, Informatics, or Mathematics)
  • Have a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree
  • A Master’s degree or other relevant experience would be an advantage.
